Triple Heat Treated Alloy Steel Hammer Mechanism. The AIRCAT 1891-1 is a low weight 1" drive impact wrench. Weighing only 12 lbs, it's used for bolt tightening & removal up to 1 1/4". The 1891-1 has 1700 ft-lbs of max torque at 6000 RPM creating 1600 impacts per minute. The twin hammer mechanism is triple heat treated alloy steel. The housing is brushed aluminum. The handle is angled to prevent hose from tangling. It has a bolt-on side handle. The forward/reverse switch is located next to the power management switch at the bottom of the D handle for operator convenience. Minimum hose size is 1/2" and the air inlet is 1/2" NPT. Average CFM is 8. Like all air tools the 1891-1 is designed to run at 90 PSI at the air inlet while the trigger is engaged. The 1891-1 has a 2 year parts & labor warranty.
