This vinyl covering protects the lock from the elements while also preventing scratches or dents to the items it secures. This lock comes standard with a solid brass body and either a hardened steel or stainless steel shackle. Even if moisture gets in, this lock will not corrode. The 5-pin cylinder is protected by a weather cap to keep dirt and debris out. with all these features standard, corrosion doesn't stand a chance. Hardened steel shackles are also available in the yellow and black covered padlocks and stainless steel shackles available in the blue covered padlocks.
