Arlington Industries DV1-1 Dryer Vent Exhaust Mounting Block, 1-Pack. 8 by 8-Inch dryer vent mounting block provides the secure, attractive and time-saving way to install dryer vents on new siding. kit comes complete with a low profile louver-type hood, a snap-together 4-Inch aluminum tube and a siding block with J-channel. fits all siding types: 1/2-Inch and 5/8-Inch step and Dutch lap. UV rated and weather-resistant for long outdoor life and also paintable to match any color scheme. installs before siding is up, overhang covers cut ends of siding for a clean neat look. to install: cut hole in substrate with 4-1/2-Inch hole saw, insert vent tube into opening, use screws to mount dryer vent to substrate through flanges, install siding, overhang on vent flange hides cut ends of siding.
