Installed in a 2" PVC White DWV piping system to provide a smooth transition from a 2'' vertical to a 2" vertical drainage line and a 1-1/2" horizontal branch line to the same 2" vertical drainage line. Often used with a 1-1/2" threaded fitting cleanout adapter and plug, to allow access to the piping system.
