The Eaton TRAFCI20V 20-Amp Tamper Resistant AFCI Receptacle is a standard AC duplex receptacle with Arc Fault technology (AFCI) to save lives by reducing the risk of fires. Arc Fault technology has been an industry standard in new construction for over 15-years and is designed to recognize an arc fault and then quickly tripping it to stop the flow of electricity in order to prevent the electrical system from starting a fire. The receptacle has a heavy duty thermoplastic construction for unsurpassed chemical and impact resistance. Comes in an ivory finish with test and reset buttons that are color-matched but can still be clearly identified. The large visual LED indicator light gives you a quick notification of tripped or 'end-of-life' condition. Tamper resistant shutters resist the insertion of foreign objects and provide compliance with 2014 NEC 406.12.
