The wireless floor mat can be placed under a throw rug or welcome mat. It will send a signal to a DC-1000 receiver whenever someone steps on the mat. It could be used at the front door to notify you when visitors have come to the house or alongside a bed to notify a caregiver when a patient tries to get out of bed. It has a wireless range of up to 1000 feet* between the mat and the receiver. The receiver will sound a chime and flash a light to notify you that it has be triggered. The mat operates on 2 CR2032 batteries(included).
