This 1 gang floor box kit includes a 20A duplex tamper resistant receptacle, and a free junction box. This floor box finish comes in brass making it great for dark carpet or hard wood flooring applications. The gasket is watertight and features corrosion resistant hardware which ensures long product life and reliable performance. Floor boxes are a quick and easy way to not only modernize your home, but also increase the functionality and value of it! The junction box is made from pre galvanized steel, and the surface of the unit has been treated by polishing, passivization, and painting to keep the product looking new for a long time. The brass finish of this floor box makes it perfect for any flooring applications with dark color flooring, as well as any other brass appliances you may have. To open the box simply slide the switch away from the unit and the receptacle will pop up firmly. The junction box includes 12 knockouts total: 2 knockouts are located on the front, back and each side of the junction box, there are 4 on the bottom.
