Made of crystal clear Lexan, this is the future of shroud design. The Clayton 3 inch Clear Revolution shroud is designed to work with any right angle grinder with a 1/4" collet. The backing pad accepts 3 inch abrasive discs with the Roloc or TR style of attachment (the abrasive disc has a plastic threaded stud); for best dust collection use abrasives with vacuum holes. When connected to a quality vacuum cleaner, this shroud will collect 98% of dust and debris during sanding or grinding. Built from the same material as aerospace cockpits, NASCAR windshields, and space helmets, it's virtually indestructible. This shroud does not obscure the working edges of the abrasive discs, so users can easily see the work surface. The Clear Revolution Shroud is a must-have tool for body shops, aerospace maintenance facilities, or other industrial applications where dust control is important. Every shroud includes: mandrel, disc pad, 2' x 1" hose whip, and swivel adapter for connection to 1" vacuum hoses. The shroud is recommended for use with a 12,000 RPM or lower pneumatic or electric grinder, and has a maximum operating speed of 20,000 RPM. Abrasive discs are available separately.
