- I had to buy a cage to keep my cat in for a couple months after he fractured his spine. This cage is good quality for my purpose. It is big enough to fit the litter box , cat bed , and food bowl comfortably (24x36). The 2 doors made it convenient to change the food and water, and the pan at the bottom pulls out for cleaning. I saw some reviews saying the bars are weak, but my 55 pound kid sat on top of it a couple times and it held up fine.
