The Klein 5299N28D Lineman's Back saver Belt is constructed of leather throughout, including tool loops, tape thong, pocket tabs and cushioning material. It includes four suspender rings, tape thong, two-way knife snap, and glove-bag ring. The 5299N28D features an extra-large (5299XL) gut strap. The belt has a D-to-D (hipbone to hipbone plus 2-Inch) size of 71 cm, a minimum length of 45-Inch, measures 49-Inch to the center hole, and has a maximum length of 53-Inch. The gut belt has a minimum size of 42-Inch and a maximum size of 52-Inch. This Klein body belt meets or exceeds applicable ASTM and CSA standards and OSHA requirements. Forged circle D-rings have corrosion-resistant finish and are proof-loaded to meet OSHA requirements. The long-lasting 1-1/2-Inch (38mm) wide tool loops are made of double-riveted leather to ensure durability. The body belt strap is covered in leather, and is made of Klein-Kord, an exceptionally strong nylon fabric that is abrasion-resistant, non-conductive, and flexible. The 5299N28D features 4-Inch (102mm) of lateral movement of the D-ring independent of the belt and pad. Note: Klein body belts are for positioning applications only and should not be used alone as a personal fall-arrest system (per OSHA 1926 Subpart M).
