Makita's economy T-shank HSS metal cutting jigsaw blade. High Speed Steel (HSS) jigsaw blades allow harder steel blade specifically suited for the metal working application. These Makita jigsaw blades are 21 teeth per inch (TPI), and are generally used for cutting mild steel, metal sheets, and aluminum applications. The blades are designed with teeth that "Wavy Sets" which allow for better straight and fine cuts. The overall length of the Jigsaw blade is 2.95" and the cutting range is up to .12" thick. These T-shank jigsaw blades are designed to work ALL types of powered jigsaws that are T-shank compatible. Blades are made in Anjo, Aichi, Japan.
