Designed for use with preformed Shower bases: fiberglass, acrylic, nylon or metal. Mechanically attaches over 2-Inch Sch. 40 DWV pipe. Polished brass strainers have PVC lifetime finish. The drain is fixed to the drain pipe from above the Shower base. Ideal for slab construction. This Oatey 3 in. Brass shower drain with 4-1/4 in. Strainer is designed to be used with preformed shower-stall bases. It comes with a stainless-steel drainer for your convenience. Compression gaskets are available to convert to 1.5 or 2 in. Copper dwv piping.
