The Platinum Tools T129K1 VDV Mapmaster 2.0 Tester Kit combines continuity testing, mapping, tone generator and length measurement functions into a single unit. Capable of identifying and mapping 19 locations at one time. Whether your jobs are commercial or residential, the versatility & added features of the VDV MapMaster 2.0 makes it an installer's best friend. It measures the entire length of a cable and/or individual wire pairs. It tests Voice (6 wire), Data (8 wire) and Video (coax). It has an easy to read, extra large 7-segment LCD screen with large icons. It has a tone generator with selectable tone cadence and selectable pins carrying tone. Tests and indicates pins with shorts, opens, reversals, miswires and split pairs. This kit includes the VDV MapMaster 2.0, a 12 remote RJ45 set, an 8 remote coax F set, an RJ45 Port Saver, an RJ45 to alligator clip cable, a no-fault cable, a set of 3 F female to F female adapters, a BNC female to F female adapter, a 9V battery, instructions, and a case.
