The Freeman PF1618GLCN 18-Gauge L Cleat Flooring Nailer has been combined with the 16 Gauge L Cleat to make our first all in one nailer. For your more common hardwoods such as 5/8" - 3/4" oak, maple, hickory tongue and groove flooring the 16 gauge cleat is ideal. If you happen to be installing 3/8" to 3/4" engineered or solid tongue and groove flooring, including bamboo, stranded bamboo, carbonized bamboo, or exotic hardwoods the 18g L cleat is your fastener. This nailer offers an affordable solution for the professional and do-it-yourselfer no matter what your installation needs. You can look at Powernail, Bostitch, Primatech, Paslode, Grip-Rite, etc. and this is the one stop solution. Our magazine design allows you to load 16 or 18 gauge L-cleats ranging in size from 1 1/4" to 2" in length without making any adjustments or modifications, seamless operation! This nailer uses any brand of 16 or 18 gauge L-Cleat, so there is no fear of finding the correct fastener, as always Freeman has all necessary cleats available for sale. The driver blade is made of hardened steel with an aluminum cylinder and high-quality rubber O-rings while the body of the nailer is constructed of durable die-cast aluminum to stand up to daily use. This nailer features 3 interchangeable base plates that provide stability and protect flooring surfaces from scratches. The nailer comes with wrenches, oil and a fiberglass handle rubber mallet.
