It is preferred over the compressed air types because it is less costly to operate and for its quietness and cleanliness. Proxxon recommends you use Proxxon Micromot Power Supply NG2/S, number 38706, or NG5/E number 38704. Three stage planetary gearbox offers a reduction ratio of 93:1 yielding ideal speed of 200-250 rpm. Adjust clutch in the range of 3-9 inch-pounds in 5 steps. Tightening torques can be selected precisely. the sixth stage bypasses the clutch and yields approximately 18 inch-pounds. Ideally positioned switch provides on/off/reverse. Fiberglass reinforced nylon lends high impact resistance to housing. Comes with adjustable chuck and 16 piece set of 1/4 inch shank Chrome Molybdenum screwdriver bits.
