Providing reliable intruder detection in outdoor environments is a huge challenge, that has been met above all expectations by the award winning WatchOUT. Based on market demand, the improved WatchOUT eXtreme provides better 24-hour protection against vandalism, with both Active IR Anti-mask and Proximity alerts. This together with Risco's unique outdoor detection technologies -- Sway Recognition and Digital Correlation -- take WatchOUT's performance to the extreme. WatchOUT DualTech is unique in its ability to recognize and distinguish between real intrusion events and the numerous false alarm causes inherent in the unstable outdoor environment. WatchOUT DualTech provides selective event recognition utilizing Sway Recognition Technology. The WatchOUT DualTech uses two microwave channels to recognize and exclude objects that sway, such as bushes and tree limbs. It also features Digital Correlation Technology that uses two PIR channels with interlacing detection patterns. Only targets creating a similar and correlated signal in both PIR channels are taken into account. Another feature of the WatchOUT DualTech is its Anti-mask protection, which is achieved by 4 active IR channels that continuously monitor and warn of any lens masking attempts.
