Alarm helps prevent misuse of life rings as well as theft. Highly visible polycarbonate housing "stop sign" design, discourages wrongful use of life-rings. The stopper is UV-stabilized so minimal damage from the sun. Unit does not interfere with lifesaving operations in any way. Mounts easily next to life ring, 9-VDC alkaline battery, screws and anchors included. Deactivation cable provided for service by authorized personnel.
