The wetted surface of our Lead Free products contacted by consumable water contain less than one quarter of one percent (0.25 Percent) of lead by weight. Lead free 1/2" Sweat x 3/8" compression straight shutoff valve features a quarter turn ball valve with oval handle that is easy to turn off and on. It also eliminates the premature failure of plastic stems and seats found in multi-turn valves. It also prevents binding or lock-up due to mineral deposits, and virtually eliminates leaks due to long periods of inactivity. The solid, lead free, chrome plated brass construction makes this valve the best choice for homowners and contractors alike.
